    Managing Partner and Professor in Organisational Behaviour at INSEAD

    Michael’s work focuses on helping leaders successfully execute strategy. As such he teaches extensively on executive programmes and consults to a variety of global clients delivering seminars, key note speeches and top team workshops helping them to address change.

    He is an experienced academic and practitioner holding a number of director and management positions in consulting firms and academic roles at Cranfield, London Business School and INSEAD.

    His research and publications examine how leaders derail, what does it take change and what role do emotions play in turning strategy into action? He features in Business Strategy Review, the Strategy Magazine, Harvard Business School's Management Tips and INSEAD Knowledge.

  • Rohina Ilyas

    Managing Partner and associate group consultant with the Tavistock

    She has worked in a variety of organisational settings providing Executive Coaching, working with conflicts and differences within management and service teams, leadership development for women and developing new organisational forms for not–for–profit organisations that are currently facing considerable change.

    Her combined approach of organisational development and counselling means that she is very effective in managing difficult transitions in groups and does it in a way that promotes development and growth.

    Rohina has a Masters degree in Organisational Consulting from the Tavistock and a postgraduate certification in counselling. Her research interest takes a psychodynamic perspective and focuses on managing conflict and creativity.

  • Lee White

    Managing Partner and Registered Occupational Psychologist

    Lee´s focus is on the creative application of psychological research and techniques to help individuals, teams and organisations develop and achieve their strategic objectives.

    Previously, Lee has worked as a Principal Consultant with CGR Business Psychologists and a consultant with Personnel Decisions International, a global HR consultancy.

    Lee has worked with clients around the world on their organisational change programmes. He has extensive experience in the design and delivery of assessments for selection and development. Lee has coached managers and executives on their personal development and performance. He has also designed and delivered custom interventions, including business simulations and 360-degree feedback tools.
  • Mary Akimoto

    Managing Partner

    Mary Akimoto has strategic and organisational development expertise. She has spent most of her career leading change – as a management team member and as a consultant.

    Cross–border business experience and an understanding of how to engage customers and employees has helped her to develop a pragmatic, facilitative approach. She has produced financial models at Mitsui OSK in Japan and headed up corporate strategy for a Swiss shipping firm. She has led a comprehensive reengineering initiative and been responsible on a global scale for culture change and restructuring activities at former UK bluechip, Inchcape plc.

    She previously worked at Hewitt Associates, an HR consultancy, and was a management team member of The Foundation, a niche consultancy. She has an MBA from Georgetown University and BA in Economics and Spanish.

  • John Hondros

    Principal Consultant (Associate)

    John is an experienced management consultant specialising in the field of business strategy.

    Since 1990 he has worked with Accenture, Bain & Company, Ernst & Young, and some niche strategy consultancies leading projects for blue chip clients worldwide. This diverse experience has allowed him to distil the best of the different approaches to strategy problems. His approach treats these problems holistically, addressing both their analytical and human sides.

    John has worked for a variety of different clients, in both the private and public sector, and been exposed to the full spectrum of business strategy problems. John also has had hands–on leadership and line management experience. He was a founding board director of NTL´s interactive media division. He has also had additional line management experience as an interim manager.

  • Vyla Rollins

    Principal Consultant (Associate)

    Vyla is an Organisational Psychologist. Her area of expertise is working with organizations to identify and address the enablers /blockers to organizational performance and strategy execution at individual, team, SBU, and board levels.

    Vyla has in-depth experience in designing and delivering a range of interventions in areas such as performance improvement, strategy alignment, change management, team effectiveness, and leadership development. She also has extensive experience as an executive coach. Vyla built up her experience working as a consultant with a range of UK, European, US and Global organisations including Methanex Ltd, Glaxo/Wellcome, UBS Warburg, Boots, British Telecom and Shell (Nigeria).

    Vyla received her BA in Industrial/ Organisational Psychology from Occidental College in the USA and her M.Phil. in Organisational Behaviour from Bath University in England.
  • Nick Clark

    Principal Consultant (Associate)

    Nick is a Business Psychologist and executive coach with almost two decades of experience in improving the effectiveness of leaders across a range of private and public sector organizations.

    Nick has a strong track record of delivering innovative and effective solutions. Recently, he has been involved in the design and delivery of leadership development interventions for high potential manufacturing leaders, executive coaching with partners in law firms and a global development process for senior procurement professionals.

    Nick has a Master Degree in Occupational Psychology and has completed additional training in cognitive analytic therapy and coaching. He is accredited in a number of psychometric tools, including Hogan, 16PF5, OPQ32, NEO-PIR, Firo Element B and the Leadership Judgment Indicator, and is a Phase 1 graduate of the Human Element.
